I'd like to hear from anyone using, or considering using Leaflet in a team chat/collaboration application, where team member location data might be used.

This is for a possible Computer-Aided-Dispatch extension am toying with mentally.

I’m not sure what your asking for but here is how I use it for my team.

sounds interesting.  i did something similar during the pandemic but it wasn’t a live chat.  i suspect that you may have some issues developing a nice interface when the participants are close together and therefore will be hard to distinguish between them without some sort of clustering.

here is the site I did:

All, here's the background to my posting.

I'm the (very) initial author of Tickets CAD, a free Open Source CAD application that's been available since around 2007, with APRS-based location data as well as some other location-data-providers.  The package is stable, and its activity level is quite moderate, with about a dozen downloads per month.

Some user communities use it as a team admin package for maybe a small number of events annually; like, say, a marathon.

This posting reflects my guess that some non-APRS response teams exist, and rely on chat/collaboration packages like Microsoft Teams and Cisco Webex, possibly with user location data, but lack incident handling.  My preliminary view is that such applications might benefit from an extension that would address incident data.

A further guess on my part is that anyone thinking like that might be looking at Leaflet.  Hence this shot in the dark.
