to Lead India Bangalore
Dear Friends,
I take this privilege and rare Honor to write this first mail in the
eGroup.
Thank you very much for consenting to come together and launching this
group.
I am surprised to note that there has been over 200 views during the
last 2 days since this group has been activated.
This shows the visibility that this eGroup has got on Google.
Now lets get started!
I request you to -
a.) send me a one page profile of yours. I shall be sending you a
draft format. You are free to modify it to suite your individuality. A
photograph may also be attached. I plan to create a micro- website wit
our profiles, and key goals. This would bring in a very high level of
visibility and transparency into our activities.
This would also enable the public to recognize us and communicate with
us if necessary. We need a 2-way channel and the most efficient one is
the web! We can also have a blog to interact with the public.
b.) I would appreciate id you all can go through the Draft minutes and
send me your comments/amendments so that we can post it on our group
page (accessible only members).
c.) I would request you all to start initiating discussions of your
choice. We can also discuss and plan our activities. I understand that
there is a very good event planning tool in www.facebook.com64.
Perhaps
we can use it.
d.) I have just send a mail to Times of India thanking them for their
support and requesting them for sustained support and guidance.
e.) The Chief Electoral Officer of Karnataka has released the draft
Electoral Rolls of all the Assembly Constituencies of the State. I am
planning to meet him tomorrow and schedule an interaction with him and
his team on Thursday or Friday evening (5:30 PM onwards). I hope this
would be convenient for you all. Please do let me know who all can
make it.
I am also forwarding some Frequently Asked Questions on the Elections
and the Rules and procedures. This would enable us to prepare
ourselves for the interactions.
f.) Lets have some Rules and Regulations for our conduct. Nothing
complicated or elaborate. But some key issues have to be evolved.
