Dear Frineds,
I would like to post this message from Mr. Anand Sarkar as a new
discussion.
Lets take this as a serious subject and discuss the various aspects of
this issue.

By the way, there is the Public Relations association of India (PRAI)
and the Advertising Society of India (ASI). We can rope in some of its
members or the association in our fold. They mentioned once that they
are interested in such activities.
Raj

PS. : This is a new Discussion. So pls. reply to this email itself.

Greetings Mr. Venugopal,
I am very sorry for replying late as I was tied up with my regular
office work -
To enable you to continue with Gandhigiri and to win we must spread
awareness among all the 27 welfare residents associations in your
constituency with approx. 50000 voters.

1) Please Define your limits area wise with population details and
voters list under each ward and what should be done to enable people
to vote, at least 90% of them must posses valid voter's id card in
line with the updated electoral limits.

2) Measure - Count you people who may vote an independent candidate
and for what reasons may be a list of activities what the new leader
will do manifesto type.

3) Campaign - we need to learn from the existing parties in your area
about their activities and try to do something different to attract
people for a good cause - something which came out in a discussion
last time that the contesting candidate must do a public/Infra related
project and publicize it.

4) Launch E-Campaign - Times will help us to publicize this initiative
by citizens and we all will send emails to all.

5) Please nominate one person who can dedicatedly work from each
welfare residents association and will spread awareness I am marking
this mail to Rajeev Kumar who is the owner from Lead India E-group and
we are trying to put lot documents and information which may be
helpful for you, Can you please get in touch with him.

6) Process - One of the Bangalore Lead India finalist Mr. Vivek Menon
is also contesting from Bharati nagar and last Saturday we discussed
with him about his initiatives and steps what he is doing in his
constituency he is also getting some guidance from few experts, please
get in touch with him (I introduced Mr. Dutt to him during unlock
Bangalore session)

7) Support - lot of people are ready to support a good initiative but
not very established political parties like Lokparitraan they can also
do the canvassing for your candidate, I am copying this mail to Sanjay
sisodia who is in touch with them if you are interested then they can
be contacted - RK also mentioned that along with TOI he can also
campaign.

I'll try to meet you this saturday sir.

Vivek/Sanjay/Rajeev and everybody - Please add and help Mr. Venugopal
and team to reach a WIN-WIN situation.

Thanks,

Anand

Dear Mr. Anand Sarkar and friends,

Now we the citizens of Bangalore are in a flux.

I am asking you to give your comments on the following issue:

The announcement by the election commission that they propose to
hold elections shortly indicates that the election will be for the
assembly elections.. And in all probability the elections for the
Bangalore civic body may not be held along with the assembly
elections.

In the last meeting of the Federation (which you attended), one
candidate suggested that he may opt as a candidate for the assembly
elections. As you know GANDHIGIRI does not have spread in the other 4
civic wards (which will constitutes OUR assembly constituency).

This candidate has a good exposure in ward 100 but not much in the
remaining 4 wards. The voters strength of ward 100 is around 50000.
And we may expect to garner a good percentage of this. As we studied
in the civic polls, normally 1/3 of the listed voters will cast their
vote and of this the winning candidate*s share is 1/3 of the votes
polled. We cand take this as a general rule with a little variations.

As the three major political parties viz., congress, BJP and JDS
are fighting each other the winning percentage will be far less.

Please give your considered opinion, if any.

What is required is a good strategy. Can you think of one.

Regards,
KN VENUGOPAL
