To All Members of the Leadership Forum at Silver Bay

Some of you might remember my daughter, Cara. She grew up while we
were in Morse Hall. She used to be one of those kids that walked by
holding a rope while we were on break. She took the Teen Leadership
course at the Bay and then worked there in the Children's Program as
an EMP.

Now she has a "wicked problem." Cara is in New Orleans organizing a
summer camp and needs help from some college age, dedicated, young
people. If you know of any, please forward this note along to them.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Emergency Communities is seeking a summer intern to help facilitate a
summer day camp in the lower 9th ward of New Orleans. Interns will
assist in planning and executing camp activities for children between
the ages of 5-18.

Candidates must be willing to work within a team and maintain a
positive work environment. Enthusiastic, creative, and motivated
individuals at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma are
encouraged to apply. Previous experience working with children is
preferred.

This is a great opportunity to be an integral part of a new program
creating a fun and safe summer experience. The internship pays a
stipend of fifty dollars per week. If you are not from the immediate
New Orleans area Emergency Communities will provide room and board.
