During the 2014-2015 school-term, your involvement ensured that more than 500 students in grades PreK-2nd who need assistance with improving reading proficiency and language development received the support they required. Because of your devotion, MRC has been awarded the United Way of the Midlands 2015 LIVE UNITED Volunteer Award. The United Way of the Midlands LIVE UNITED Volunteer Award recipient is a volunteer group or individual that is dedicated to service throughout the year and promotes the spirit of volunteerism back into the Midlands community through their generous and impactful efforts. As recipients of this award, you are truly committed to volunteerism and have made a difference in the life of a young person that could last a lifetime!
