NEWS: Mike Goodwin (Bow Tie Comedian) and AMIkids

Hey there, LC13!

I hope you are all doing well. I'm excited to tell you about an upcoming comedy show featuring the one and only, Mike Goodwin (aka The Bowtie Comedian) (aka Magic Mike)! It is for a GREAT CAUSE! And it only costs $25!! 

Mike and I serve on the Board of Directors for AMIkids South Carolina. You may remember that AMIkids is a non-profit that runs 6 camps across the state for at-risk youth and their families. They are a partner of DJJ and work primarily with young men ages 12-17 who have committed crimes. For me, I am convinced that AMIkids is the solution to turning their lives around. 81.2% of youth served by AMIkids NEVER have another run in with the law. No one else is getting results like that. DJJ doesn't even come close. AMIkids really does change lives.

So, Mike is putting his talent to work to help raise money for this great organization!

On Monday, October 20th at the Trustus Theater, we would LOVE to have you come to "AMIkids Night of Laughter" featuring Mike and two other comedians. Tickets are ONLY $25! This also includes free food from 15 local restaurants (and cash bar). It would mean so much to us to have some of our LC classmates there to support us and the young people whose lives have led them to AMIkids.
