Great Opportunity for Midlands Nonprofits

Good morning everyone. I wanted to share some exciting information for Midlands area nonprofits with you.

On May 6, 2014, Central Carolina Community Foundation will present the Midlands first regional day of giving. Midlands Gives will bring the region together as one community, raising as much money and awareness as possible for Midlands nonprofits during the 24-hour online giving challenge. Contributions for Midlands Gives will benefit your favorite causes and organizations right here in the Midlands. A gift to any of the participating nonprofit organizations in our 11-county service area will go further this day thanks to generous sponsors and contributors who are providing prize incentives and a bonus pool.!

I know most of you either sit on a board, volunteer with or support at least one local nonprofit organization. Please share this information with those organizations and encourage them to participate. I've attached a brief overview. In addition, there is lots of information on the website, www.midlandsgives.org, including Eligibility Requirements, Rules and FAQs.

• The MORE organization raises, the LARGER their share. EVERY gift goes farther with BONUS funds.
