How does your work life feel to you? Are you excited about your job
and the company you work for? Do you like the people you work with?

Often I will hear people laugh and say, "The day I win the lottery
is the last day my boss would see me." And I know that doesn't mean
you hate your job or resent your boss.

I believe it is almost impossible to be a great leader and have
this feeling.

So maybe you are not working in your dream job. Perhaps the kind of
work you would love to do is a few years away. But if you are a
leader, you must find some aspect of it which is exciting,
fulfilling and meaningful for you.

I feel blessed that I do work I love. It gives me an opportunity to
make a positive difference in the world and I meet a lot of
interesting people. I do feel like a have a winning lottery ticket
most of the time.

Great leaders know they can't inspire commitment and productivity
in others if they don't inspire it within themselves first.

Think . . . and act . . . like a leader!
