Below is a summary of the results of our KIPP Pay It forward Project:

Session 1 - We presented a Making a Bold Impression education session to (63) 11th Grade students. These students were asked to complete a Pre-worksho survey.


Session 2 - (31) 11th Grade students were provided with mock interviews (49%)

Below is the breakdown of student responses to our interview survey:

1. How confident do you feel in drafting a professional resume that promotes your talents, skills,
and experience?

Very Confident = 14 (45%)
Confident = 12 (39%)
Fairly confident = 2 (6%)
Somewhat confident = 3 (10%)
Not confident 0

2. How confident are you in preparing for an interview?

Very confident = 10 (32%)
Confident = 9 (30%)
Fairly confident = 11 (35%)
Somewhat confident = 0
Not confident = 1 (3%)

3. How confident are you with presenting a professional image during an interview?

Very confident = 12 (39%)
Confident 13 = (42%)
Fairly confident = 6 (19%)
Somewhat confident = 0
Not confident = 0

4. How would you rate the resume overview?

Poor = 0
Good, I learned something new = 14 (45%)
Great, I am more prepared = 14 (45%)
Excellent, I'm prepared and confident = 3 (10%)


5. How would you rate the mock interview sessions?

Poor = 0
Good, I learned something new = 7 (23%)
Great, I am more prepared = 9 (30%)
Excellent, I'm prepared and confident = 15 (47%)
