beta.lds.org: Awesome! How to improve?

Hello everyone,

I like the great design at beta.lds.org Right now it has 5 categories in the menu:

* Heavenly Father's Plan

* Family

* The Church

* Service

* Study

Sub-sites for children, youth, young single adults, etc. don't fit very well into that (excellent, well thought out) structure. They seem to act more like separate sites, so it's ok that they don't fit into that structure. I wonder how to highlight those sites?

Right now the "Related Sites" menu at the top doesn't seem to cut it. Does anyone here have a great idea (or two or three or more) on how to navigate to and from sub-sites on lds.org?

I'm not on the design team. I'm not an Church employee. I hope our conversation will be helpful. Please don't criticize any Church policies or the great Church employees working on this. They're doing a great job. This is not an "official" request for help - thus I'm posting it in this forum.

That said, let's brainstorm!
