As a parish leader and/or friend to Good Shepherd, we invite you to assist us in identifying strong candidates who may feel called to serve in our parish office. Working in a parish office is more than a job—it is
a ministry of service that supports the daily life and mission of our community.
In recent months, our staffing has shifted. Deacon Manuel Rivas has moved to the Diocesan Diaconate Office, and Mike Nguyen has begun his formation as a seminarian. Linda Widjaja, our part-time Faith Formation Assistant, will be stepping away soon as she prepares
to welcome a new addition to her family.
Additionally, Quinn Nguyen, our current receptionist, will be transitioning into the newly expanded full-time
role of Parish Data & Faith Formation Administrative Assistant, which opens the position at our front desk.
Our parish staff play a vital role in advancing our mission of Welcoming, Service, and Unity in Faith, ensuring that parish programs, ministries, and events flow smoothly and support the spiritual life of our community. Please take a moment to review

Helps coordinate scheduling, communications, and facilities across parish programs, liturgical events, and ministries. This position keeps the pulse of parish life, ensuring calendars, announcements, and events are accurate and well-supported. Ideal for someone who is organized, resourceful, creative, and collaborative, with skills in Microsoft Office, PDS (databases), Flocknote, Canva, and basic web or social media content and tools. Requires flexibility for some evenings and weekends.

The welcoming face and voice of our parish—offering warmth and professionalism to all who call or visit. Assists families with baptisms, weddings, funerals, religious education/classes registration, ensuring forms and follow-up steps are complete and accurate. Ideal for someone who is friendly, patient, and detail-oriented, with strong people skills, insight in reading needs, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and parish databases (PDS). Represents the parish through a ministry of presence rooted in compassion and hospitality.
