Does anyone have experience with CDE? That's the application that mission
offices use to track baptisms. It appears to be nearly identical to MLS
except that the data schema is different. There does not appear to be a
mlsbackup directory in the root directory. The program directory was removed
when the application was relocated to another user's PC. However there is
"recover" directory and a "data" directory in this directory: "C:\Documents
and Settings\All Users\Application Data". Is there a way either the data or
the recover directory can be used to restore?

Thanks,

Just as an FYI, MLS 3.3 has moved to an All Users data area as the
change was made so that MLS can be run without an Administrator login.

That may be the area holding the files you need to recover. A call to
Local Unit Support would probably answer the question for you.

My Dec 2010 Instructions on Mission Offices and Windows 7 only mentions backing up from within the program. You might try searching for something that begins with the mission's unit number.
