Before the calendars would be filled out in ward council and then the ward website admin would be the one to enter all the info but now, each auxiliary is responsible for entering their calendar items.
Do you still submit the calendars to the bishop for approval before the auxiliaries post their calendars?

It's not necessarily true that "each auxiliary is responsible for
entering their calendar items." That depends entirely on how the ward
organizes its calendars. There's no reason a ward can't choose to have
just one ward calendar that is maintained by one person. Or even
several calendars that are maintained by one person. Or 50 calendars
maintained by 100 different people.
There are many factors to consider and tradeoffs for each decisions.
The more calendars you have, the better you can target events for a
particular set of people who can then subscribe to only those
calendars they need. Fewer calendars will simplify administration, but
may lead to subscribers (including those who sync calendars to smart
phones or other external calendars) getting notified of many events
they are not interested in. And the more editors you have, the more
people you have to train and the greater the chance for errors, but
the more you distribute the workload. Each ward and stake needs to
decide which of these factors are most important to them.
