I found in the newspaper the other day a note about some free days at some of
the historical places around the area. Its Sat. and Sun. of this week.
Gari Mechers home and studio at Belmont in Falmouth, George Washington Birthplace
National Moument near Colonial Beach, This place is a great place to
take kids, its a working farm with some live animals. Historic Kenmore
George Washington's Sister House in Fredericksburg. Stratford Hall in
Westmoreland County. For more details about each home, as well
