Hi,

I just recently submitted a crash-fix for when prolang generates too big bytecode (>256 kbyte) on 64-bit builds (https://github.com/ldmud/ldmud/pull/114). It's tested and verified on a live mud where we also encountered the crash.

Also I decided to dig into the interpreter and noticed some smaller microoptimizations that could be done without any significant structural changes:

I tried to isolate them and decided not to commit the perf-examples but those could be included upon request. Since these are my first PR's to the repo (I think?) I'd appreciate any feedback.

If these look ok I'll probably try to see if there are other optimizations to be done as well, as well as a few features I had in mind.

Thanks,
Simon
