about LDIF

Dear LDIF group members  

 

I am a graduate student of CAS（Chinese Academy of Sciences）in China. I major in “library science”. Recently, our team plan to use LDIF to develop a system which has named as Federal Search on Heterogenous Linked Dataset. In order to reasonable design this system, we plan to give a investigation on the application situations of LDIF. Although much effort has been spent, we still did not find these existing systems that have fully applied LDIF.

 

1. I wonder if you would consider sending me the name list of these systems.

2. Would it be possible to give us a brief description of the recent advancements and application prospect about LDIF?

3. If there are not systems that have fully applied LDIF(i really hope it is not ture),What are the reasons why LDIF can’t be fully utilized at present?

4. Is it unfortunately surpasses this time or immature in theory and practical application? If these are not the real reasons, what do you think of this issue?
