My client is looking for SAP MDM Consultant for 3 Month Contract role based in Chicago, IL (Remote)

 

Position: MDM Consultant

Location:  Chicago, IL (Remote)

Duration: 3 Month Contract

The objective of this engagement is to design and establish a centralized Material Master data model in Syndigo, based on the existing Finished Goods configuration in SAP (S/4HANA & ECC)

 

This work will enable a governed, scalable, and business-aligned master data foundation to support operations, reporting, and digital product data requirements

 

In Scope

SAP Finished Goods Material Master analysis (all relevant views and dependencies)

Target data model design in Syndigo

Field mapping and transformation logic (SAP ↔ Syndigo)

Integration design inputs (interfaces, data flows)

Documentation and knowledge transfer

Out of Scope

Full data migration execution (unless explicitly added)

Development of interfaces (design only unless amended)

Non-finished goods materials (raw, semi-finished unless scoped later)

Attribute structure and hierarchy

Roles & Responsibilities

AMS Provider

Provide senior SAP/MDM architect with:

Deep SAP material master expertise

MDM/PIM integration experience

Lead analysis, design, and documentation

Facilitate workshops and drive deliverables

Client (Novolex)

Provide access to SAP systems and documentation

Identify business SMEs (Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance)

Participate in workshops and approvals

Define data ownership and governance decisions

 

Resource Requirements

Role: Sr SAP Material Master / MDM Architect

8+ years of Experience Required

5+ years of experience required in SAP Material Master Focused (Finished Good Focused – FERT)

5+ years of experience required in Integration with MDM/PIM Tools (preferably Syndigo)

Cross-functional SAP knowledge (SD, MM, PP, FI/CO)

Data modeling and governance expertise
