Hello, chess buddies.

Problem: In my computer I now have 2 GPUs 1x RTX2080ti + 1x RTX2070. I use the FRITZ-GUI Version 17, WIN10, the computer has 6Cores and 64GB-RAM.

I could not activate both cards at the same time to calculate at one position. It always ran only the 2080ti without the 2070.

My attempts:

1. I tried several variants in the parameter at FRITZ at "Backend-options". Nothing worked that the second card runs.

2. then I created a lc0.config file. This is in the lc0.exe directory.

2.1 There I started small if FRITZ recognizes the file at all. If I enter something wrong in the "lc0.config" it does not work = FRITZ can read the file.
2.2 But if I enter something correct in the "lc0.config", for example setting threads to 4 (2 is normal for me), FRITZ does NOT take this into the displayed parameters. Conclusion: The lc0 file is checked but does NOT control the execution of lc0.exe.

My big request and question: Do any of you have a FRITZ with two GPUs running?

Then PLEASE publish the correct lc0.config file for two graphics cards here. Or the correct "BackendOptions" setting. Or both.

The suggestions listed here in the blog so far did not help.

I am despairing. So I can't support Lelaa with the client properly.

Thanks a lot for the help.

First try to see if Lc0 works on the 2nd GPU.
Use this in the Lc0.config file:

backend-opts=gpu=1

After you know that the 2nd GPU is working, enter the following:

Thread value 3
backend=multiplexing
backend-opts=(backend=cudnn-fp16,gpu=0),(backend=cudnn-fp16,gpu=1)

Note you need to delete the previous Lc0.config.

Here's a silly question. Is the PSU supplying enough power to both GPU?
