I installed LCZero in my Chessbase 14, I put the network file in the same directory as lc0.exe and renamed it to weights.txt, and I started the lc0.exe Still, when I installed the Lc0 as UCI engine and add it as kibitzer, it doesn't run. It just says that is loaded but it doesn't make any analysis.
What I could be missing?

See if you can run it from the command line and give it some UCI commands by hand;
uci
position startpos
go infinite

At this point you should see a lot of output. Then:
quit

Also, make sure the executable is being invoked at the correct directory, or it won't find the weights file.

Thank you, it is working now. The problem was that it was not pointing to the directory with the weights file.

But from try it looks weaker than Stockfish. Which one is stronger Windows-cude, Windows-blas or Windows-opencl? I have new Dell Latititude with 8th gen i7 and 16 GB so should be able to handle all. Also which one is the strongest weights file?
I was expecting if I pair it against Stockfish to win most of the time...

Leela is strong only if you have a strong Nvidia GPU, running with Windows Cuda version.
If not, SF will win big even with 1 thread.

I doubt Dell Latititude has a good Nvidia GPU...

For LCZero to be any good, you need a powerful GPU, which your computer probably does not have.

So it means for strong Lc0 is needed really a gaming laptop?
I have intel uhd graphics 620. Does it mean I have to select the blas version? Or I can still use the CUDA or the opencl version?

lc0 really asks for high-end Nvidia GPU to run at full performance, so yes, it requires a gaming desktop / laptop (but Nvidia only). In theory, the RTX 2080Ti gives the highest node/second for a consumer device.
With intel GPU, I heard it is less stronger than your CPU, so you should select the blas version.

You can try both (in a shell) to look at the nps (nodes per second). The highter the best.

As previously said you tou type by hand :

uci
position startpos
go infinite

and then quit to stop.
