Using Chess Combi VI To Combine lc0 with Ender

Hello,I am using the Chess Combi program to combine Ender with Leela. This is just experimental and need further proof it is working. I DO have the program working but not sure if ENDER is being used BUT it should be.

Is there a way of switching at piece count, or is it just move number?

ender network......is good in final game but very bad in opning agme........so i thik its not good  idea to combit betwin there in same engin...................just if can use ender as an sygygy option.

If you use Ender with more than 16 pieces on the board, you are not using it properly. It’s an endgame net and knows nothing about openings and middlegames.

i think the idea of combining them, is essentially to use leela at the start, and then switch over to ender automatically once a certain piece limit is reached e.g. between 12-16 pieces, so combining best of both worlds

that said, looks like the chess combi program at present only allows for switching based on moves played, and not pieces remaining, which is a shame, as switching too early to ender could result in a precipitous drop in strength if too many pieces are remaining.

Dietrich, you have the hybrid and point to the website, but it is not downloadable there, is it?

The Ender128-80 which is downloadable, but comparing the file sizes it can´t be the hybid, but must be the endgame net itself.
