Thank you

Complicated for me :(

its says in document "  Alternatively, you can copy the Leela Chess Zero training instance folder to the ‘Engines’ folder, since it contains the required files mentioned above." I cant seem to find those files. Can you send a link please ?

1. lc0 setup is exactly the same as the regular GPU setup in arena so the linked instructions are correct
2. Rather than copying the training folder, and rather than supplying command lines args, all you have to do is download the latest network (from networks tab on leela home page), unzip the file, rename it to "weights.txt" and put it in the same folder as the rest of the leela files.  That is what she looks for by default

That should do it.  The only tricky part for me was finding the DLLs, but you didn't mention that so hopefully you have them already.

Thank you. Finally got it right.

Now a new problem. My GPU version of leela plays VERY odd. And the CPU version is way better. Its supposed to the other way around. Any ideas ?

How much NPS do you get with each of GPU vs. CPU?

Are you running the regular "gpu-win" version or the lc0 CUDA version?

Hi Thomas,

could you specify your graphic-card (right click windows start -> device manager)? This would help us to help you :-)

I had the same problem too but someone from the Leela team expanded the documentation page for running cuda lc0 and it helped me identify my problem. In my case, the version of cuda wasn't at the mininum version 397.44.  You can use the switch --debuglog as detailed in that doc (https://github.com/LeelaChessZero/lc0/wiki/Getting-Started-%28lc0%29) to identify the issue.

lc0.exe --debuglog=log.txt

The doc was a bit misleading though. It said that it was only necessary to just extract the three dll files (and no need to run the installer), but to get to the minimum cuda driver version it was necessary to run the installer. It is necessary to install the cuda display driver (and leave out all the rest as the install is quite huge.)

OK - first of all be sure to install the latest Nvidia-Driver, for my 1060 + the aforementioned 3 DLLs everything went perfect. If this still doesn´t work, Nan´s proposal should work.

Thank you. It seems to work now.
