        First of all;   All I need is self play Lc0 for analysis purpose,but somehow I couldn't manage to install Lc0, becasue it's is simply most confusing instructions I have ever seen,  this is what I did step by step, any help much appreciated,

        so I read this ( ' http://blog.lczero.org/2018/09/guide-setting-up-leela-on-chess-gui.html ' ) guide several times but it confused me more,

    1- I downloaded client.exe from here  ------->  https://github.com/LeelaChessZero/lczero-client/releases

    2- then downloaded engine from here ( blas ) ------> https://github.com/LeelaChessZero/lc0/releases

    3- and then downloaded just random weight from here ---------> http://lczero.org/networks/

    4- I put all of them in the same folder,   now I have this,

1313413.PNG

    first confusion here; there is also client.exe in the engine folder so I replaced it,

    5- downloaded arena

   7- I put everything in the arena's engine folder,

       another confusion is here ; this guide;   ( http://blog.lczero.org/2018/09/guide-setting-up-leela-on-chess-gui.html ) tell me that I need to download binary files from here, ( https://github.com/LeelaChessZero/lc0 ) but all I see here is ; some submodule files and some archive master zip files, so I skiped those files cause I have no idea what they are,

  8- now when I try to add lc0 to arena engine;

321643165.PNG

  there is;  command line parameters box, I couldn't figure it out what to write there, guide told me that I need to change network file to text file I tried several things here but none of them worked I quess, eventually when I launch the engine I got this error;

  lc0.exe system error, couldn't find MSVCP140.dll ,

  so I am stucked here and scratching my head, so I need your help casue I am so confused from so many guides/pages/files, all of them says different things I also watch some youtube videos but those give me some other links and files that I never saw before so ...

 Thanks in advanced.

„but all I see here is ; some submodule files and some archive master zip files, so I skiped those files cause I have no idea what they are,“
You need those Filmes, otherwise lc0 will not run.

  the thing is this guide   (https://github.com/LeelaChessZero/lc0/wiki ) and this guide ( https://github.com/LeelaChessZero/lc0/wiki/Getting-Started )  never mentions about those files,also there is no links on there for those files, so I don't know how and where to use those files, a little bit more info would be more appreciated thanks

Hi! you need no client for analising games. Try to run lc0 in terminal and when it starts, type go nodes 100
This way you will make sure if it works. Arena is next step

Make sure you have an integrated GPU. If you have NVIDIA then download and install CUDA first. Then try again those steps and it will work.
I know because I had the same problem.
Let me know if it helped
Cheers :)

in here there is no such files, ----------> https://github.com/LeelaChessZero/lc0/wiki/Getting-Started

thanks

You only need to download the source code if you plan to compile the program yourself.

To run the program, download a suitable version for your computer (BLAS, OpenCL or CUDA) from https://github.com/LeelaChessZero/lc0/releases.
(Your first screenshot shows that you have the correct files already).

As Tomdraug mentioned the first "testing" step would be to put a weights file into your Lc0 folder and  run lc0.exe.
When the program has loaded type "go nodes 100" and press enter.

If the program finally shows a line like "bestmove d2d4 ponder g8f6" (may differ according to your chosen weights file) then you know that Leela works properly and the problem must be caused by Arena.
