hello I need some help about set lczero as UCI engine.

I tried a couple times to set LCzero as chess base UCI engine.

however, it,s not working at all. ChessBase said Lc0 caused an exception. this is a problem in the engine.

here is my lz0 file with weight file. do I miss something?

Hi Pin Yi,

just some ideas:

- is the weight file unzipped after downloaded?
- try to rename the weight file just to "weights"

I hope this helps... Good luck!

Open up the lc0.exe and type "go nodes 100" to see wheather the engine itself is working. If it is, the problem ist with the GUI client you are using. If it is not working and it gives an error or something, then maybe that can help you fix the problem.

Also be sure to use the latest engine and latest network (40xxx) for now, just to be sure it is compatible with each other.

I'm using the Fritz15/Chessbase gui. I and another person had problems getting Leela installed as a UCI engine. Both our problems went away when we updated our Fritz/Chessbase software. My current version is 44 and it works fine. You can check by going to "File" >  "Activation" > "Update Program" in your Chessbase software

Try reinstalling Cuda or CudaNN if you haven't already.  If that doesn't work try cuda-nn-9.0 and cuda-nn-9.0 after using revo-uninstaller to uninstall the latest version first.  Here is my working lc0 directory:

Leela needs fairly new drivers to work. So try to update your graphic card drivers via NVIDIA Experience. I hope that fixes the problem.

And if you dont have a cuda core graphics card I think leela wont run on that GPU, only CPU then (which is much slower)
