Hi all,

I am glad to release my new program: Banksia GUI - a chess GUI. It is totally freeware and can run in almost all major operating systems 64 bit (Windows, macOS, Linux), can do almost all typical tasks of a chess GUI. It has a good and high customizable graphics. It can help to do many chess tasks quickly and efficiently such as adding new engines, making tournaments... It supports almost all new technologies and trends in chess such as Syzygy endgames, queries some chess database online...

Especially it supports deeply Leela Chess Zero:

Understand all stats and show them in a sortable table and customizable bubbles
Supports new options UCI_ShowWDL

Recently all releases are still alpha versions. However, they are becoming more stable and useable.

I cannot install engines!

Nice - i've been looking forward to a gui than could display uci_wdl.

I can't get it to work yet; i'll figure it out.

Thank you for Banksia GUI. I installed it at once and tried to install Stockfish 10 but the program says protocol not recognized. How do I install my engines?

I had written to the Banksia GUI developer informing him about the problem of installing engines in the GUI. He has since released an updated fixed version, 0.11, which works now. The updated version can be downloaded on the same site. The GUI takes getting used to as it does not display engine information that most people are used to!
