Softball Matches - Leagues 3 and 4 - Shield Places

Hi

 

5^th and 6^th places in Leagues 3 and 4, go into the Shield.

 

I am having to make decisions based on information I have to give your four teams time to plan for your knock out games next week.

 

I have no formal postponement of Pandamonium vs Throw and Catch22, but know the former have been hit hard by work commitments due to world climate week and weather.  I am assuming a 10 all draw and flipped a coin.

• Pandamonium are 5^th
• Throw and Catch22 are 6^th

 

Team Sally Army vs London Raiders is tonight in Hyde Park.

• I need a winner please.  If tied after 4 innings, play a 5^th to avoid me tossing a coin
• I have asked by admin straight after the game.
• I think tonight is Erica’s first game leading the team Sally Army, not don admin before.  So do text me 07917035787 if you have to.  I need a result from this game.
• London Raiders, this applies to you to, I know your first season, if you struggle to do the admin online tonight, do message me instead.
• I need this by 9pm tonight.  My other email to you this morning has the how to admin!

 

So next weeks shield games will be:

• WINNER of  Team Sally Army vs London Raiders  AGAINST  Throw and Catch22
• LOOSER of  Team Sally Army vs London Raiders  AGAINST  Pandamonium

 

Start working out internally when you can play next week, your fixture will be confirmed and live on the website by 11pm tonight here https://www.charitysoftball.co.uk/fg/2_231053843.html, so by this time tomorrow you can be firming up next week with your known opposition.

Hi Stato,

Hope you're well.

Throw and Catch22 vs Pandemonium was originally scheduled for 25 June, but we postponed due to the heat. Unfortunately Pandemonium haven't been able to get enough players to reschedule this week, so are forfeiting. I logged in just now to try and update the stats but it's locked, so I presume you'll be able to amend that?

Will get going with team availability for next week!

Hi Loose

 

‘Cos nobody did any admin in the website last week (I had to set your fixture to panadamonium to postponed, neither team did this by Friday lunch time, nobody left me an notes in the website)… I have had to make decisions.

 

Captains have been told I will play god if I have to in plenty of emails.

 

So the 10 all draw stands in the website.  I flipped a coin and have set you to 6^th place and am building next phase of website over lunch.  I will not be amending.

 

You will play the winner of tonight’s game in the Shield.  Both London Raiders / Team Sally Army  are new, neither has won a game yet.  There will be an opportunity for you to win against a team with similar form.

 

Loved having you in our league, happy to have leant you kit, great game against you on my birthday too.  This is one of those, “For the Greater Good” and my sanity!
