Pack a picnic
Finals night is a long one, so do a Yogi Bear and pack a picnic. Make a proper evening of it and fuel yourselves for the drama. Although food is provided by the Bluesteppers (Sandwiches to meet your dietary requirements) each team will only receive two trays - so, bring your own to top up.
Keeping tidy
A big thank you to teams for keeping things tidy during wherever you’ve been playing your league matches. It really is noticed and appreciated.
Looking ahead to finals night, we will need all hands at the ready to help keep the London Mets playing fields in tidy. To support this, each team will receive a black dustbin bag, and we ask everyone to be mindful and tidy up after themselves. We do not have cleaners on site, so we all need to take responsibility for our own mess.
We strongly suggest nominating cleaning champions within your teams to coordinate your tidying and for teams to clean away their/ your rubbish throughout the evening, rather than leaving it all until the end when it’s dark and everyone just wants to head to the pub.
Let’s keep doing our bit to tidy up our Sh.! Surely, if keeping tidy means a quicker exit to the pub, should be the motivation we can all get behind!
or
Bin it. Bag it. Pub it.
