Hi Joe,Thank you for the information. The floodlights would only have been needed for week after the 13th - we will now jig around our season and play on Thursday 6 August - so we won't need floodlights.Thank you re speaker system and the delivery/ drop off explanation. Makes absolute sense.I have asked Bluestep re 96 children's tops - no probs. We'll cover the cost. They will give it to us for cost and we will cover. I'll send you over designs - so need to get your logo and size requirements. Also, just dotting the T's - clear up, is there an additional cost? And could we have a food van there? if not, no problems - we'll get sandwiches delivered.I think we would like to book you. I'll need you to invoice me in April and we will pay up front to confirm booking. I see you have a small pavilion and I am guessing there are toilets there - could our guests use them? That's it for now.LeoOn Monday, February 16, 2026 at 01:30:40 p.m. GMT, London Mets Chair <ch...@londonmets.org> wrote:Hi Leo,That's positive, please see my answers below:
1) Sadly not yet, although this is our goal for 20272) For delivery we can open a main gate by Endymion Road, but this isn't somewhere for cars to park it's just for delivery and then the vehicles will need to park nearby. There is a retail park with a Sainsburys c. 200m away which has a large car parking space.3) We do have a speaker system we'd be happy to lend out.Just re. T-shirts, these would be for adults as it's our adult beginners programmeThanksJoeOn Mon, Feb 16, 2026 at 1:24 PM Leo Visconti <leovi...@ymail.com> wrote:Hi Joe,I hope you had a good weekend.I presented some venues to our Committee and it seems that we all would like to explore your stadium.I have a few questions that I wonder whether you might be able to answer for me.1) Are there floodlights? In case we play the wee after when the sun will be going down by 20:302) When cars/ vans need to drop off - do they do this by the road or can they drive up to the fields?3) Is there a tannoy system to read out the scores? That's it for now. I am meeting with our sponsors today - I will ask about your t-shirts - are these children sizes?LeoOn Friday, February 13, 2026 at 02:32:31 p.m. GMT, London Mets Chair <ch...@londonmets.org> wrote:Hi Leo,Thanks for your time on the phone. Thanks for confirming.
I'd like to introduce you to Joe O'Connell, copied, over at the London Mets - their field is in Finsbury Park, and they might be able to assist with your requirements. Happy to provide some other options as well, but please feel free to discuss with Joe and keep me in the loop!

Apologies seems your emails went into my spam.
Yes I contacted Regent's Park and although they have pitches they don't allow Spectators or marquees so they are not an option.

I can confirm that Farnham Park would be available for those days, (we're almost always available mid-week 🙂 ) but aware that it is outside of London and may not fit your requirements, but it has 4 fixed softball pitches. There is a preferred caterer onsite. We regularly run tournaments with more than that number, so it will accommodate it
Hope this helps and Chris will be in touch with other options

Thanks so much for those details. We are happy to take a look at the places we have access to and see if there's a fit. I'm assuming you're looking to do this in London? I ask as Farnham Park might be an option that weekend - Rachel Clarke, our Head of Ops can confirm, and fully appreciating you may want to say inside the M25, that might be a good backup option.
Have you been in touch with Regent's Park at all?
Thanks!Chris

Subject: RE: Contact UsGood morning Chris,
Thanks so much coming back to me.
We would like to hold our finals on either 12 or 13 August.
We have 5 sponsors and 4 of them like to bring medium sized marquees. We provide free food and drinks. Happy to use your food supplier.
Around 500 charity people descend from around 1600 and will stay with us until 2130. The sponsors arrive at 1400 to set up. Everything is free for charity folk.
Although access to loos would be great we have brought in portaloos before.
We just need a green space that is big enough for two pitches and space for the marquees.
Feel free to call me if you need more info. I am exploring options as we have a limited budget.

All the best,Chris
