Hi Leo/committee,

Hope you’re well!

I’ve just seen the ask RE players looking to join teams in the recent newsletter.

Some colleagues who were keen to join the team this year have left the organisation since the league started (following a substantial restructure), so we have spaces and can welcome players to our team.

Happy to take whoever wants to join if they’re happy to merge/play as the narwhals (with acknowledgement they may sometimes have to be substitutes etc.) 😊

They’re welcome to contact me directly on this email hardev...@nspcc.org.uk, and I can add them to our teams chat/whatsapp group chat.

All the best,

Dev

Just a note, our next game is Wednesday 3rd June at Victoria Park in case any new recruits want to join (sorry for the short notice, I was on leave the past week).

My number is 07877928780 – we have spare kit and all the gloves/bats ready 😊

Hi Hardev,

Thanks for your email earlier. I am please to be able to introduce you to Francesca. Francesca, meet Hardev.

Hardev is the captain of the NSPCC Team - they need players. Francesca has players who are keen to play. So, over to you both.

Hardev, I haven't mentioned this week's match - that's up to you to sort.

Good luck both,

Leo

Hi,

Thanks for the intro!

@grantfr...@gmail.com – great to e-meet you.

We have spaces in our team and the more the merrier. We did have a good/healthy number of sign ups when re-joining the league but due to illness/injury, leave and redundancy/people leaving, we’ve ended up with a smaller number of ‘regular’ players.

Of course we’d like to do well, but we’re all about having fun and enjoying it, so super welcoming culture (especially with lots of new players)! If you’re happy to play as part of the Narwhals team, we’d love to have you & your colleagues join.

Feel free to respond to this (and maybe remove Leo to save him from having a full inbox), and we can talk specifics and ways to move forward if you are interested in joining 😊 We have a whatsapp chat and teams chat where we speak logistics before/during/after games!

Next match is Wednesday 3rd June at Victoria Park against British Council – you’d be more than welcome to join!

I look forward to hearing from you!

All the best,
