Hi Derek,
I think people were possibly commenting cause the bright moon was up
limiting how deep you can go. It hasn't had that affect on the CCD. Also
you'll see the moon is pretty far from LCROSS' position in the sky.

As for high up, yup, thats where it is. Its been getting better and
transits around 10pm PDT, so you'll have lots of time to try grabbing it.

10-4... Thanks for the confirmation on the position..

We will see if I can detect it.. It does pass by a mag 8 star for me, so
that's easy enough..

Now if my setup can capture it..

Not holding my breath, but I like the impossible.. I live for the
impossible..

Now to BBQ the steaks and the lobster tail and wait for darkness..
