Folks:

IIRC the end of last months's meeting, no one stepped forward to offer
a presentation, so consider this a shout-out for either volunteers
*or* a forum for the topics that would be most useful to you.

Additionally, we've had an invitation from another programming group
that's trying to start up (not knowing about us until after they'd set
their first meeting date). By sheer coincidence, their first meeting
date is set for the same day as our Feb. 25th. So the upshot is that
we have the option of attending their meeting in lieu of holding our
own.

So...let's hear what people think.

Cheers,

Doreen

Hi all,

Its getting close to being my turn to present. I will this time or another time soon.

I am also all in favor of attending the orther groups meeting. Im not sure I want to be a presenter
to a strange group though (Not that ours is not strange enough)

Brian

It's such a relief to know that we're maintaining our exacting
standards of strangeness. I rather pride myself on that, y'know... ;-)

Brian:

It looks like the other group moved their meeting to March 2nd
(details here: http://www.google.com/calendar/embed?src=devcoulee%40gmail.com),
so are you still up for presenting on the 25th?

Thanks,

Doreen

Hi,

Sure Im still willing and able to present on one of my projects. I will be documenting, for my own use, and presenting
on a series of programs that I wrote to create drawings/sketches for myself (dxf and ps files).

6:pm at orange? or should we meet at my place (1230 clinton street)?

Hello all,

I'm willing to host. The place will hopefully look quite a bit different
as I'm building conference/work tables this weekend. Still no projector,
though.

Hi,

Inviting others is fine with me. Im really not comfortable with public
speaking so just be understanding of my nerves.

Orange Computer 6:pm Thurs, Feb 25th

My presentation will be on
"Dxf file creation and sex"
or some such thing.
(added the sex part just to create interest)

My initial notes and examples are posted on
http://www.losug.org/hgdxf_lcpug.html

I will have some examples along, both printed and manufactured.

I will be running the stuff on a laptop I will bring. It will not be
web based other than the web page notes above.

Have a great weekend.

Brian
