I bought this ***** called Galaxy Watch 4, because I thought if it has android then my regular apps will work on it. Just to realize that basically a 30 EUR Chinese noname fitness band gives you more than this useless pieces of *****. Because the 30 EUR chinese noname fitness band usually shows your notifications from Facebook messenger, Signal, Instagram, but this sophisticated piece of Samsung technology is apparently incapable of doing that.

Does someone have any idea if there is any way to get your Facebook messenger or Signal notifications on it? Or I will return it and get the 30 EUR Chinese fitness band, because that seems smarter than this thing.

Still I cannot pickup calls from FB Messengers, or Signal. Only Whatsapp calls can be picked up through the watch. If the notification arrives in time, but usually there is a delay of 5-10 minutes. Despite of the fact that my galaxy wearable app is on all the time and ate up 10 percent of the battery of my S21 ultra.

If yours is anything like mine the notifications did not come whilst wearing the watch but when you removed the watch the notifications all arrived.... So now my watch is in the service center either being fixed or replaced...

My Galaxy Watch 4 "Classic" has worked out of the box with FBmessenger. Even the messenger calls. My wife's Galaxy Watch 4 has not worked even after the options were selected. Would it have something to do with mine being the large Classic version?

Hi,
Unfortunatelly I updated my Galaxy Watch to the new Tizen 5.5 SW. Since then the Facebook Messenger messages are now in a bubble with white background and black font color on the watch. This is awful!!!! My eyes are not perfect and I can't read the messages well... Is there any way to change this setting back to the original layout where background is black and font color is white and no any bubbles??
I hate Samsung updates, they always ruins something that was good and worked properly...
Please help!!

I switched back to Samsung to get better compatibility with my Galaxy S10e. But I really don't like this purple theme of messenger. The color is just really ugly. Because of this I think I will use the grey-scale mode, and if I won't like that than I will send this watch back and switch back to Huawei. It may sound like I'm too picky, but this purple really frustrates me so bad I might get rid of the watch because of it.

Hi - I have just got my Galaxy Watch 3, bluetooth version, and I have a setup problem. Although I can get it to notify me of a Messenger message, it tells me to open the message on my phone - it won't let me read the message on the watch. Help! WhatsApp seems to work fine, I can read messages and reply to them. I have set both Facebook and Messenger to send notifications to the watch in the Wearable app on my phone - what else do I need to do?

Having the same issue but in my case I used to be able to reply from my active 2 watch but that ability has vanished with the only option to open on phone. Like yourself, WhatsApp and text messages work fine but FB messenger I now can't even see the message let alone reply any more. Have tried to speak to live help but they're always busy.

Hi guys. I have a Samsung Note 3. I'm having an issue which started recently where Facebook Messenger video messages that I send do not have any sound. When I press and hold the video record button in the app and then release the button to replay a recording there is a slight click sound and then total silence throughout the video. Oh my dad that the camera works perfectly in the phone and all videos work as they should. I've done absolutely everything I can think of including uninstalling both Facebook and the messenger app, reinstalling, clearing cache for the apps, clearing cache for the phone, wiping your phone to factory settings and reinstalling everything and a few others to no avail. Any ideas you may have would be greatly appreciated as I'm totally fed up with this issue. TIA

I am having the exact same issue. I can record video with the app no problem but there is no audio. I can record audio with other apps and can even record audio clips separately with the voice recorder included with Messenger. I have tried the things you have mentioned and am coming up blank.
My thoughts are that maybe it is a glitch with the current update, as this has only recently started happening.

Hi Ivan. Thanks for your response. I was starting to wonder if I'm the only one having this issue. For now I'm not going to do anything drastic like buy another phone and just live with it. I have to say I'm dussappinted both samsung and fb haven't been very helpful with no reply from fb and samsung telling me my phone needs to go in for a repair assessment. )let's hope it gets sorted sometime soon. Thanks again.

Hi Ivan thank you for the heads up but unfortunately no update as company come through on my phone yet so I did a uninstall and reinstall and the problem is still there very frustrating hopefully and update will come through on my Google account maybe it has something to do with the way Google distributes updates or something I'm not sure

Had this problem on iPhone.
My FB and IG sent messages and there is no sound. I switched on the Silent switch and the app notification option. I then used Joyoshare UltFix to fix the problem without any data loss.

I met with the same problem on my iPhone, too. It seems that the issue happens both on Samsung and iPhone. But fortunately, I get out of the trouble in the end. At first, I deleted and reinstalled the app, yet it didn't help. Later I sought help online and I was told to use professional iOS system repair tools. Finally, TunesKit iOS System Recovery saved me.

I looked for this on various websites including youtube and solved it using to experience issues sending photos and videos on the Messenger app on your iPhone, you can try the following troubleshooting steps to resolve the problem:-
1. Update Messenger App:-
-Make sure you are using the latest version of the Messenger app. Outdated versions may have bugs
or compatibility issues. Update the app from the App Store if a newer version is available.
2. Check App Permissions:-
-Confirm that the Messenger app has the necessary permissions to access your photos and camera.
Go to Settings > Messenger > Photos and make sure it's set to "Read and Write" or "All Photos." Also,
check the Camera permission.
3. Restart the Messenger App:-
-Close the Messenger app completely and then reopen it. This can help resolve temporary glitches.
4. Clear Messenger App Cache:-
-Unfortunately, as of my last knowledge update in January 2022, iOS doesn't have a built-in feature
to clear app caches. You can try uninstalling and reinstalling the Messenger app, but keep in mind
that this will remove your chat history on the device.
5. Check Available Storage:-
-Ensure that your iPhone has enough available storage space. If your device is low on storage, it may
have trouble handling media files.
6. Contact Facebook Support:-
-If the problem persists, you can reach out to Facebook/Messenger support for assistance. They
may be able to provide specific guidance or information related to known issues.
7. Use Facebook Messenger in Browser:-
-As a temporary solution, consider using the Messenger web version in your mobile browser to send
photos and videos.
If the issue continues after trying these steps, it's advisable to check the Facebook Help Center or contact Facebook/Messenger support for more specific assistance, as they may have additional insights into app-related problems.

I'm new to Fitbit and have the charge 3! I'm looking for some advice on how to set up notifications from WhatsApp and or Facebook messenger to my watch? I'm using an iPhone and have read some conflicting info on whether this is possible?

@Aloishere Welcome to the Fitbit forums! Thanks for posting the situation you are experiencing with the Whatsapp option not showing when trying to set it up for your Charge 3. It should work fine for an iPhone 7.

Ever since I updated my Fitbit charge 3 a few days ago, it does not stay connected to my iPhone and it get the message Bluetooth pairing failed call notifications and all-day sync are disabled for now. I still can manually sync.

I have a Galaxy S6 and Fitbit charge. I am getting notifications from all my desired apps except for the ringing of the phone. I thought when I first set it up it worked. Now when I go to select apps for notification the telephone isn't one of them. Help?

Hi! I am still having an issue getting any all notifications sent to my new fitbit charge 3. I've gone into the account settings on the fitbit app and into the notifications section, but it won't pair once I get into the notifications section, nor does it give me the option to turn on any notifications in regards to phone calls, text messages, or facebook messenger. So it doesn't give me the option to turn on any of these settings. I have a LG Stylo 4 that has Android 8.1. Please let me know if there is anything I can try.

Not supporting Android watches is not fair to the android customers. Not everyone uses or liked Apple. And not having anyone on visible chat know when or if android watches will ever be supported is not nice. Not an option to switch to Apple watch is brand new 4/21 capability of the cellular on watches and phone is new. I will switch providers before I buy all new devices if something doesn't happen soon with watches for android prople.

I am thinking if they don't provide Android watch support by mid 2022, I will likely switch carriers. With phones getting bigger, I would really love not having to carry phone and just get notifications on watch.
