unless I'm crazy, it looks like you forgot to run autoconf before making
the tarball? lcm-1.1.1 (and earlier) seem fine.

Oops, sorry about that. You are correct, I must have missed that when
moving release binaries over to github. I think I've rebuilt the binary,
please try again.
