Dear Harrison Avenue Markeplace Vendors and Patrons,

It is with deep disappointment that we have decided to cancel the November Marketplace.  The expected weather for both Wednesday and Thursday nights is lousy and we don't want to risk damage to hand-made arts and crafts due to any rain whatsoever.  Plus, we all know what rain will do to attendance.
For those vendors who submitted individual checks to us for your booth, the good news is that we haven't made this month's deposit, so you have our assurance that your check will be destroyed.  For those who paid us in one check, we will have a refund check ready to give to you at the December market.  And for those who are not exhibiting in December, we'll send a refund check to you by the end of next week. We will not roll over a credit into the Spring 2009.
At this time, the December market is still completely booked. If there are any vendor cancellations for December, those vendors who were scheduled to exhibit in November will be given first consideration.
There's not much more to say except thank you for your understanding, hard work, and resilience.  The show goes on again on December 10th.  Have a Happy Thanksgiving with your loved ones.

Thank you from Harrison Avenue Marketplace!
