Hi lci-* groups!

Just a quick message highlighting some of the new things which went on
in lci this past year:

- If you've subscribed to the lci Twitter feed [1], you probably know
that most of the 1.3 recommendation has been implemented in the lci
future branch. This is nice, as it greatly expands the applicability
of the language (to include features which frankly should have been in
the 1.2 spec). If you want to see what can be done with these, check
out the BF interpreter at [2]!

- I launched a forum [3] over the summer in case people ever want to
discuss features of the language or the interpreter itself. I've just
been using it to capture and organize some of my thoughts and notes
going forward and if peeps ever need a place for discussion, it's
there.

- Many thanks to Kurtis Nusbaum for contributing the CMake build
system in the master branch and helping integrate it! I'm still
learning the CMake ropes (and need to finish adding it to the future
branch!), but it's definitely an improvement over the GNU Make file I
jury rigged!

And looking forward to the future, there are some tentative plans, including:

- Merging future into master, making 1.3 the de facto spec supported by lci.

- Working on a little document project titled "Learning the LOLCODE
Programming Language" which serves as both a documentation of the
features in the specs as well as an introduction to LOLCODE for novice
or veteran programmers. I'll set up a github repo for this when it
gets to a more mature state.

Thanks to the community, and here's to another great year!

- Justin
