Every time I attempt to write a function in lci, I get the following error:

<file>:<ilne#>: expected end of expression at: DUZ

Am I doing something stupid?  I managed to find lolcode samples online that included functions, but when I would run them with lci on my machine, I would get the same error.

The first thing I would check is that it follows the updated function call syntax here:  https://web.archive.org/web/20120420194728/http://lolcode.com/proposals/1.3/bukkit2 .  There have been some new ways of defining and calling functions that lci now completely supports.

Assuming the syntax is correct, could you provide a simplified example of the function call that's failing?

Thank you!  Every site I checked, including Wikipedia and the wiki on lolcode.org has the old syntax with DUZ rather than IZ in function declaration; I would never have found that.  If no one else gets to it first, I may just go ahead and update those myself.

No problem!  That would be awesome.  At some point, I'm going to release a new specification that describes exactly what lci supports.
