A few important dates coming up:

APRIL 12, 6-8 p.m.:  Marching Band Open House/Orientation for the 2011-2012 Marchin' Trojan Band.  This is for parents and students.  It is a "drop-in" event; you do not have to stay the whole 2 hours.  Marching Band fees are going up, BUT YOU CAN LOCK IN LAST YEAR'S RATE BY COMING TO THIS EVENT!  $200 if you pay your $50 marching band fee deposit at the Open House; $225 if you pay after April 12.  There are still discounted rates for the second child.  Also at this event:
 * The theme for the 2011 marching show will be announced.
 * Order marching band shoes for next year
 * Buy a flip-folio.  The band will no longer provide flip folios.
 * Portman's Music and Art's Music Shop will be here.  Still have that plastic clarinet from middle school?  Still have your beginner trumpet?  Need a mute, or some reeds?  They'll be here to help you out.
 * Check out our new CHARMS online management system, where you'll be able to log in and see how much is in your child's IBA, plus much much more.
 * Learn how to subscribe to the online band calendar via Google calendars.
