Parents,

The following info was handed out in class today:

 

FESTIVAL!

 

Wind Ensemble - THURSDAY, MARCH 17, 2011

11:40 a.m.  4th period as usual, 4th lunch as usual

1:30 p.m.    end of 4th lunch - report to Band Room

You will be marked "CCR" (co-curricular; does not count as NI) for Per. 5 and 6.

1:40 p.m.    Bus leaves

3:10 p.m.    Arrive in Cairo

3:30 p.m.    In the audience for Worth Co HS Band

4:00 p.m.    In the audience for Cairo HS Symphonic Band

4:30 p.m.    Warm-up

5:00 p.m.    PERFORM

5:30 p.m.    Sightreading

6:00 p.m.    Load bus, truck; get results, etc.

6:30 p.m.    DINNER - bring $$

                   Choices are McDonald's or KFC.

7:15 p.m.    Bus leaves

8:45 p.m.    Approximate arrival at LCHS

 

Symphonic Band - FRIDAY, MARCH 18, 2011

8:15 a.m.    Report to LCHS Band Room

NINTH GRADERS:  You will need a note from your parent/guardian

so the bus driver will let you off the bus at the high school!

8:30 a.m.    Rehearse

                   (This does not count as "final run-through."  You still MUST be at rehearsal on March 15 to perform at festival.)

You will be marked "CCR" (co-curricular; does not count as NI) all day.

9:30 a.m.    Load buses

10:00 a.m.  Depart for Cairo

11:30 a.m.  LUNCH in Cairo - bring $$

                   Choices are McDonald's and KFC

12:15 p.m.  Back on the bus to Cairo HS

12:30 p.m.  In the audience for Merry Acres MS Band (subject to change)

1:00 p.m.    In the audience for Lee County MS Band (subject to change)

1:30 p.m.    Report to the buses/truck

2:00 p.m.    Warm-up

2:30 p.m.    PERFORM

3:00 p.m.    Sightreading

3:30 p.m.    Load buses, truck; get results

4:00 p.m.    Depart for LCHS

5:30 p.m.    Approximate arrival at LCHS
