Hello everyone!  I hope you are having a great week.

 

A few brief announcements:

* Attached is the Senior IBA Reimbursement form.  This is for graduating seniors only.  Parents of seniors should read this form, fill it out, and return it no later than Monday, May 9.  You can respond by email to cart...@lee.k12.ga.us.

 

* Please support our band program by attending and/or selling tickets to our Appetite for Jazz dinner on Friday, May 6.  Tickets are availble from me or from any member of the jazz band.  They are $40.

 

* PRISM CONCERT:  Tuesday, May 10 at 7 p.m. in the auditorium.  Report time for students is 6 p.m.  Don't miss the closing performance of the 2010-2011 school year! 

 

* Drum Major Auditions will be held after school on Friday, May 13.  All band members are invited to attend.  Those who attend the audition will vote for next year's captains and drum majors.  Only those who attend the entire audition may vote. 

 

* DRUMLINE auditions are May 16-19, 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. in the Band Room.  All students interested in playing percussion in next year's marching band should attend the auditions.

 

* Awards Night is Monday, May 16 at 6:30 p.m .  We will start in the cafeteria with light refreshments and then move to the auditorium for awards.  Please plan to attend.

 

* Don't forget about the Red/White Scrimmage on Friday, May 20.  This is the first performance for next year's marching band -- including our upcoming freshmen!  Please make plans to be there.  We will perform in the stands.
