How inspirational to look at the first concept design of the crossing!!!! This is a major milestone and we cannot thank the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy, Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority, Caltrans, and the Resource Conservation District of the Santa Monica Mountains enough for that image!

We’re off to a great start! The CBS This Morning Special aired, and the Los Angeles Times did a feature story and we continue to get calls from the media. I’ll send out a full list of coverage soon.

Our new website at www.savelcougars.org is also live, along with the Rainn Wilson PSA video on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YkvtkQOKNVs and a blog about the launch http://blog.nwf.org/2015/09/rainn-wilson-and-ranger-rick-want-you-to-help-build-a-wildlife-crossing-to-save-mountain-lions/

And the wonderful Steve Winter just posted to his personal Instagram account and is about to post to National Geographic’s account with 31 million followers!

We also need your help! We have $30 million to raise to make this a reality, so we need to get the word out!

Start sharing the video and photos (see attached) on social media. If just 3 million people do the text to donate for $10, we’d could fully fund the crossing! That’s just 8% the population of California and 30% of LA County!

I’ve included a few samples, but personalizing it is always better. Also watch my social media accounts Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and others and you can retweet/share. Be sure to use the hashtag #SaveLACougars on everything you post so we can track.
