Hi everyone :)

FFG published the first infos about the upcoming regionals.

1) The deadline to apply to get one kit (cost: 150$ + shpping costs) is 21st of March
2) The 25th of March they will publish the location and date of all the regionals

The prize support is good, in my opinion (you can check it out here: http://www.fantasyflightgames.com/edge_news.asp?eidn=2002 )

Call of Cthulhu: The Card Game Prizes:

  • 1 “Regional Champion 2011” Trophy
  • 1 Signed and Certified “Regional Champion 2011” Certificate
  • 2 playmats for the top two players of the tournament
  • 4 Large 24” x 26” uncut card sheets from a recent expansion print run
  • 8 Large glossy art prints
  • 8 “Call of Cthulhu Regional Championship 2011” cloisonne pins
  • 16 sets of 4 double sided limited run Domain cards (64 cards total)
  • 1 of the following for the “Asylum prize” - Card box, Playmat, Pin Set, or token set from a recent Game Night Kit for the last place player

I am interested in organizing such an event for the NL area and I have no problems in taking care of all the aspects.

What I would like to know is if there are some players interested and try to arrange a date that is ok with the most of us. FFG encourage to organize regionals in between the 2nd of May and the 13th of June. The only point that is sure is that we are going to have this event for the weekend :)

I sent an e-mail to the TO of the Belgium group; in this way we could try to organize in a different moment so maybe some players from Belgium could join us (and viceversa).

I personally prefer to have the tournament late May/June (and I'm not available for sure the weekend of 14 and 15 of May).

What do you guys think about this?

Heya,

Would love this. But, the support seems too much for the few people I
know who play. Still, maybe this group can find more people to play.
Also, I'm mainly a W:I player and only recently started playing CoC.
Is there any differentiation or do I need to hope for the best?

So, you've got my vote and I'll play, even with my limited cardpool!
