LCG Buyers Club - Housekeeping and hellos

Hello,

Thanks everyone for joining our special workgroup. My name is Arte, I've been an owner since 2019 and serving on the board since 2025. I'm an artist, a father and a public servant, dedicated to leaving a better place for the next generation. 

I am excited that this group is coming together. Our current board has been working hard rebuilding the co-ops foundation and as a result will be able to support the efforts of this workgroup fully.

Housekeeping:

In an effort to keep the co-op business organized and healthy, we should understand that there are some administrative tasks that our groups should maintain. Primarily a charter, which contains general info about our project, its goals, who is involved, leadership roles, board reporting, etc.Take a look at the LCG Committee Charter Template, once we have this written for our group we will need to file it with the LCG Secretary. 

There is some technology available to us

While we are all saying our hellos and getting familiar with the housekeeping be thinking about which administrative roles you have interest or skill in.

I am happy to write a rough draft charter for our working group. If you accept my offer to do that, I would draft it with the intention of the rest of the group making whatever major or minor changes that make sense to us collectively. I would leave some key areas blank, pending group decisions, in the first draft. I just tried to access the Committee Charter Template and am waiting to be granted access to view it.
