Over 122,000 entries from 170 countries have been submitted for consideration at the 2013 Sony World Photography Awards. The staggering number submitted were whittled down to ashortlist which will be exhibited at Somerset House, London from April 26 to May 12. The shortlist includes 14 British photographers across 15 categories. A white van man is lucky to be alive after he crashed his motor, flipping it and landing it vertically against a hotel near Newquay, Cornwall. Luckily no one was hurt.
