I am SONG Bing. This is my very
first time to send you email as your newly-elected AIESEC UNNC
Expansion President. There is nothing I can say but hard working that
can return your trust to me. In the past few months, AIESEC UNNC has
achieved much accomplishment which could not be even happen without
your contribution and I am very proud of you. Next few months are extremely important to us, which makes me to set up quite a lot tasks
on my agenda and I need your supports to achieve that. EB team
establishment is on the top of the list.
According to the application rules set by UIBE, I hereby officially
announce that following members are the candidates to the new EB team.
Vice President for OutGoing Exchange Candidate: ZHENG Yi
Vice President for InComing Exchange Candidates: HE Shaopeng, DUANMU ShimengVice President for Finance Candidate: SHAO ShuaiVice President for Talent Management Candidate: CHEN Mengjue, JIN Kaifang
Here are something you need to know before the election, especially for the candidates.
AIESEC Main Function Responsibility
1. VP OGX is responsible for functioning OGX teams with LC, OGX
teams training, facilitate the matching process professionally,
coordinate OGX teams and work closely with EB team. Therefore, the VP
OGX must meet following criteria.
He/She must have knowledge of insight entering and match procedures,
interested in cultural understanding, interpersonal skills,
international experience beneficial, open-mind, positive, creative and
organized.
2. VP ICX is responsible for functioning ICX teams, raising TNs,
reception-related issues, local marketing research, coordinate with
local companies and maintaining sound relationship with them, ICX teams
training and work closely with EB team. Therefore, the VP ICX must
meet following criteria.
He/She must have knowledge of business environment, marketing,
presentation, communications both in oral and written, leadership, team
management.
3. VP F is responsible for annual budget development and follow up,
financial system establishment and development, day-to-day accounting
record, cash flow control and monitoring expense control. Therefore,
the VP F must meet following criteria.
He/She must have knowledge and skills of accounting, presentation,
financial related policy, numerical sense and analytical thinking.4.
VP TM is responsible for building talent management system, develop
leadership of members, building a sound and harmonious relationship and
working environment. Therefore the VP TM must meet following criteria.
He/She must have strong interpersonal skills, strategic thinking,
analytical ability, presentation and training skill and
problem-shooting capability.
Election Details
1. The EB election is arranged in
TB 109 at
19:30 TOMORROW. All AIESEC members are
required to be present.
2. Each EB candidate will be given
ten minutes for a speech to present your ideas, understanding and plan about each function.
3. There will be a short Q&A section after speech.
4. There will be a confidence vote to each candidate, The vote result has dominant influence for me to appoint EB post.
5. To help each EB candidate to prepare their speech, I outline several
points that you'd better consider them and prepare your speech on the
base of following suggestion.
Department of OutGoing Exchange
1. What is your framework of Department of OutGoing Exchange?
2. What is your criteria when selecting a EP?
3. What is your plan to make your EP to be involved in AIESEC cultural?
Department of InComing Exchange 1. What is your framework of Department of InComing Exchange?

Please brief analyze our target company positioning and target EP group under current circumstances.
3. How to motivate your members when facing difficulties in raising TN or other obstacles?
Department of Finance 1. Do you have any
idea how to establish financing system and regulations which are
crucial to a expansion LC and what are they?
2. How can you make sure your regulation can be executed 100%?
Department of Talent Management 1. What is your recruitment plan in the next term to help our LC to find suitable members?
2. Do you have any team building plan and what are they?
3. How can you make our members to realize and concur with AIESEC cultural?
Remember, each candidate only has ten minutes to express your idea and present your vision about your department.
