UPDATES
LC IN MARCH
March is an official start for most of the departments, especially as preparations for another coming hot season. And the LC has equipped itself with better basis in terms of Campus environment, HR, Finance and communication.
Through AIESEC exchange program, Hello China Project realized 8 traineeship experiences. And ICX and Project raised TN takers in different industries to provide more life changing experiences for global youth in the coming months.
We finished the recruitment for long term members and exchange participants (EP) successfully. Finally, we have 45 AIESEC new babies and about 60 EPs (Aus are not included). OGX has reached the targeted goal of recruitment and gained 140% growth compared with same period of last year.
ER has repositioned itself in order to provide better external support for the organization. And currently, it is searching for more external partners for members’ learning, training and media partners for branding. The direct results can be seen in next month.
In campus, now we become the direct program under Youth League(团委). And AIESEC becomes a program of school level and it is getting more supports from school.
The basic regulations of HR and Finance have been settled. And members can have clearer and faster channel for refund.
In national level, AIESEC UIBE helped other 5 expansion universities in 4 cities finish their recruitments for both members and EPs. And in early April, UIBE successfully hosted an EP RIC with more than 480 delegates (biggest AIESEC conf in AIESEC history).
AIESEC UIBE has had a rich month and we are looking forward to seeing more.

Exchange performance
l ICX成功raise了21个TN,如高新华康科技有限公司,并与合作公司保持了16个TN,match了3个TN。
l PBOX 在UIBE本校,和北京语言大学,北京第二外语大学以及北京航天航空大学四个AU成功举办了海外实习宣讲会,本校招到实习生55名,AU共招到实习生40名,投入到了又一季的match工作中。HIV 项目找到3个实习生,开始新一轮的match工作.
l PBOX--Hello China项目有 8个实习生已经到北京高中开始关于可持续发展教育的教学工作,他们分别来自 哈萨克斯坦,亚美尼亚,印尼,俄罗斯和荷兰.
l PBOX --I CAN 项目raise了惠泽人、珍爱、在行动、协作者、红枫5个NGO.
Finance
l 三月份member 报销及补贴结清。
l 完成EP RIC Apr09 Budget以及CI Spring 09 ,OGX Recruitment , AU及Expansion Recruitment 的审计工作。
l 完成了80+ 新EP ,ICX New TN Form信息汇总。
Events
l AIESEC CI(招新)分别于3月12日,3月17日在学校诚信大厅及诚信三层国际会议厅举办了春季成员招新及海外实习项目招新的宣讲会,吸引了超过200名学生的参与,最后吸纳了43名新成员及60名实习生。
l Communication在3月30日成功承办外事处的美国海上大学(semester at the sea)好欢迎晚会,有近50名贸大同学和50名来自海上大学的同学参加了此次跨文化交流活动。
l AIESEC成功承办了AIESEC Spring EP RIC 2009, 接受与会者超过500名,为出国实习生提供了一个很好的机会了解AIESEC。
l Hello China Project 4月9日成功在尚丽中学举办Global Village,向北京的高中生展示了各国文化,上了一堂可持续发展教育的课。.

l How to run mentorship:
ü Goal-setting: mentor should faci mentee to complete a goal-setting process by the goal-setting guidance
ü Regular meeting :mentor and mentee should meet at least 3 times in a term
ü LC Bonding: mentor and mentee should attend the reception activities with trainees at least 1 time during this term
ü Feedback: mentor and mentee should give feedback to each other at the end of the term
ü R&R: the best mentee &mentor will be announced by award
