Hello all,

As you may have noticed, the previous painting that was in the corner of the Coop has been covered. We have received mixed feedback from members of the Coop and beyond (please feel free to express yourself) and want to let you know that the decision was not one that was meant to make anyone feel excluded or unimportant. A benefit that we hope everyone will be able to see is that now the wall is a blank canvas, with the intention to engage the community (you) in its future.

Several ideas have been proposed for the space:

~A comprehensive mural (student designed)

~A (student) predesigned mural for others to paint

~A painted border to encompass space for more doodling

~(your idea here)

If you have something you would like to see done with the space, please e-mail the space coordinator Anya (alu...@lclark.edu). This goes for design ideas for a mural, others not listed above, or anything that has to do with a space on the whole. Spread the word and get brainstorming, we've got art to do.

ALSO: Please note that Coordinator meetings have an open attendance policy, and occur at the Coop Mondays from ~6-7pm. There will also be an upcoming member meeting after spring break (April 4) exact time TBD.

In the meantime, enjoy the lovely weather next time it comes around and grab your friends for a cup of conscious coffee at the Rusty Nail.
