LC #2:

We have heard through the grapevine that all of you are working hard toward completion of your dissertation.

Time is passing quickly and it is critical that you get your manuscripts out to your committees (as directed by your mentor). As a Department, we will be deciding those that will defend this December and those for next year’s graduation. EVERYONE will be attending the December 11, 12, and 13 weekend, regardless of defending or not.

Also, we have been invited to the University President’s home for a D.Sc. reception (all LC’s, faculty and staff are invited), Saturday evening, December 12th. Please send a RSVP to Denise Melendez if you haven’t already on you attendance. They need an accurate headcount for refreshments and drinks. Everyone on this email is invited (sorry no significant others as her home cannot handle more than 40).

Your approval for oral defense form must be signed by your mentor and committee members by November 25th. There will be no exceptions after Turkey Day, to be fair to everyone.

Please keep your advisor (Dr. Chumer), mentor and committee informed of your progress and decisions regarding your December 2015 Oral Defense.

MANY thanks for your continued dedication and movement toward graduation (and you getting rid of the ABD status ;-)

Stay well and see everyone soon!

WPR,

Dr. C

Professor Collins,
I asked Dr. Chumer a month or two ago to put me on the list for next year defense.  Between the two weddings and closing 5 NJ facilities, I have to put this work on the back burner.
