This email is being issued by the Multi-State Fleet Response Working Group (FRWG) to the following organizations:

PURPOSE:
1) This communications is for the purpose of regional, multi-state situational awareness.
2) This information is for operational use ONLY.
3) Action IS BEING REQUESTED below from states who have declared emergencies or plan to declare emergencies. See details below.

Electric sector fleet movement coordination with states on the East Coast and Central U.S. for the upcoming winter storm JONAS for January 21-24, 2016.

MESSAGE:
All,
This is the update for the electric sector mutual assistance fleet movement underway for winter storm JONAS for the Eastern U.S.
The purpose of this email and information is to give you the “regional, multi-state view” of private sector resource movement for Jonas as now.
For this update:
1) Electric sector resources that were still en-route to parts of North Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia have been released to return home, some from as far away as Texas.
2) Additional RMAG (Regional Mutual Assistance Group) calls are not needed since all requests have been met.
The attached UPDATED spreadsheet has two tabs:
1) Tab 1 - illustrates the estimate fleet movements from the origination states, the “pass through” states be driven though, and the “impacted” states where these resources are ultimately headed.
a. PLEASE NOTE - These are the initial assigned movements but they are very fluid and will change as the weather impact begins without notice.
b. Any assistance you are willing to render to reduce possible delays would be appreciated.
c. There may also be some movement from Canadians companies across the US/Canadian border to support this response but has not been confirmed yet
2) Tab 2 - shows provides a list of the state declarations, state of emergencies, and/or special instructions to the private sector on how to handle possible travel delays such as weight stations. This information is also maintained and updated on the All Hazards Consortium website at http://www.ahcusa.org/jonas-1212016.html
