Planning the Trips

As told in the recent meeting -

We need to organize around 4-5 big trips for the interns . For which
we have to plan and finalize the details in this semester only.
Select the location where you want to plan the trip to. A team of 3-4
will organize one trip and will accompany interns onto the trip.
So reply here with the location and the dates you want to book for
your trip.

PS- Big trips are 2-3 days trip ( Friday night - Monday morning /
Sunday night )

@harsh - Please add all other details which we should know here..

I'm thinkin of organizing a trip to mysore.I have details on the
distance,places to visit and hotels where we can stay.i'm thinkn 4 of
us would be good to handle 10-12 interns.guys if ny1 of u are
interested then plz do reply(asap) so that we can proceed further.

Hi
We are planning for trip to Kerala in the end of september. Places we
are planning to visit are Ernakulam(cultural importance+shopping) and
Munnar(tourism). I guess we can handle around 15-20 interns. Since it
will be raining during that p[eriod trip shud be kept towards the end
september. dates canbe finalised when the techtatva dates are out,
because techtava also comes around that time.
Our team includes:-
Me(Ibrahim)
Namrata
Abhishek
So the slot of end of september is booked.

Hey guys,
 
As discussed in the previous meeting you all were supposed to come up with the places and the trip dates by monday afternoon. However, only a few of you ,namely, Ibrahim, Namrata, Abhishek, Saurabh and Akshit have confirmed the places.
 
Plz decide the dates of the trips at the earliest and start working on them, as you all know that you will have to present the plan before us, before the sessionals. Plz work on every detail and do not expect us to provide you with the contacts. Its your trip and your plan.

actually have to go around to get u the exact details and obviously a
thourough research work needs to be done and confirmed too as it has

Hey Akshit, i ll join you for the Mysore trip.....actually, i dont have much info regarding the place in particular, but i can surely help u guys out with the bookings, getting cheap bus, finding places etc....

Our team comprising of Raghav, Shyam, Tanmay and myself are planning a
trip to Goa as mentioned earlier.
We would prefer to keep it by the end of October. We are flexible as
far as the dates are concerned, subject to sessionals.

Given below is the dates of the sessionals for coming 3rd semester:-
1st sessional- Sept 2-4
2nd sessional- Oct 4-6
3rd sessional-Nov 8-10
For more details u can look up the nlh notice board/academic section
notice board

Techtatva comes in between 1st n 2nd sessionals probably after 19th
sept
So plan the dates accordingly.

Dear friends,

I hope all of you have made up your minds about which trip you want to
organise and go on during the next semester. All those who havent
decided something till now, please do so at the earliest and keep us
informed.

For all those, who want the presentation to be postponed to after 3rd
sessionals, I feel that the earlier you guys plan, the better it is.
It shouldnt take more than a week and after 3rd sessional, u guys will
have ur lab end sems niwouldnt want to bother u guys then.
In case we have certain things to suggest,u guys will also get some
time to bring in the necessary changes and finalise it before the end
sems.
