Is this the same issue that you later posted as the memory allocation error? If not, I need more details about what you are trying to simulate, etc.

I am having the same problem. Using THERM 7.7.? and Windows 10. My file is not very complicated but THERM crashes when I try to calculate. Was a solution found for this issue?

Here is the error log from my computer when THERM crashes. I think this error is only happening when I have glass from WINDOW in the file. I am able to simulate without glass.

Thanks, Jake

I think I just answered this to different user (Jacob). In case you do not get that email, here are the instructions:
go to Option->Preferences->Therm File Options and then uncheck Run Error Estimator. After you do that, run calculation again and follow on screen instructions.

Best,
Simon

I am wondering if it has to do with the path of the WINDOW database -- there is a hyphen and an ampersand in it.

My idea about the WINDOW db path was not the problem.

In this particular file from jdanne74, the issue is a triangular polygon in the spacer assembly. In general THERM does not handle triangular polygons very well. If you delete that polygon and move the points for the neighboring polygon to fill the void, the file will run.

Here is the same file without the triangular polygon, which now simulates
