It's annoying that after successfully installing version 7.8.80 and installing both redistributable libraries (with the antivirus software disabled, as administrator), the program won't launch because a window pops up saying libifcoremd.dll is missing.

I have Windows 11 Pro.

Please help urgently.

The first thing to check is to see if the file is actually where it is supposed to be.

It is probably installed in 2 places (32 and 64 bit)

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Intel\Shared Libraries\intel64

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Intel\Shared Libraries\ia32

If they are there, make sure that you are running THERM as Administrator, so that it has permission to access those directories.

I run it as a user, but when I run it as an administrator, I get the same symptoms.
Interestingly, there's no intel64 or ia32 folder in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Intel\Shared Libraries\ directory. There are only bin, etc, include, lib, licensing, opt, and share. There are no dll files in any of them.

What should I do, and why is this happening? I've recently upgraded to a newer computer, but my previous one also ran Windows 11, and THERM 7.8.80 installed on it without any issues and I've been using it without any issues.

I uninstalled the recommended Intel Fortran redistributable, but installed Intel Fortran Redistributable Libraries 2022. Everything works fine. It turns out there was a conflict between the 64-bit and 32-bit versions – it should be 32. The issue is resolved – maybe it will be useful to others, as I wasted two days. Best regards.

My understanding is that the Fortran redistributables installation installs both the 32 and 64 bit versions, and THERM knows where to find the 32 bit version when they are properly installed.

it's good that you were able to get it to work, but it is unclear to me why the link that we provide on our website didn't work for you.
